Is Omnidrive gone for good?

Omnidrive has been one of the strangest stories in online storage.  Early on, it was lauded (pre-launch) by Michael Arrington and TechCrunch, but some of that hype was later questioned by potential conflicts of interest. Late last year, ReadWriteWeb reported that Omnidrive could be added to the Dead Pool, but then a few months later delivered news of a purported resurgence.

Given all the confusion, we have not included them in our directory. Recently a reader asked why, so we decided to take another look. The link to Omnidrive (www.omnidrive.com) sort of says it all (at present, it is showing an ad for cash advances).

Does anyone have any news they can share in our comments?
